Q. Will I be asked to repeat a FIT?
A. You may be asked to repeat a FIT if the lab is unable to process the test due to the following circumstances:
- The test has expired.
- The collection date was not on the test tube or on the form.
- The test was damaged in the mail.
- The collection date was more than 14 days ago.
- The analyzer malfunctioned.
- The specimen was not kept in the envelope before mailing.
- The information on the tube did not match the information on the form.
